Summary:
Angel returns to Los Angeles after a three-month mourning period. As ever, he's continually hoping to find peace but always manages to be confronted by demonic forces trying to wreak havoc on earth. His team of demon hunters regularly battles with the evils from Hell, while Angel has the added burden of fatherhood. Against a menacing backdrop a prophecy is uncovered in the fabled Nyazian scrolls that points to an impending apocalyptic conflict. The season's primary emissary of evil is Holtz, a seemingly invincible being conjured from past history by the demon Sahjhan.
