Summary:
Jamie Ashford suffered a devastating loss when her first child drowned. Now, just a year after her daughter's death, and despite taking precautions, Jamie is surprised to find out she's carrying another child. After a difficult pregnancy and birth, Jamie begins to suspect that her newborn Caitlin is not the sweet baby she appears to be. A series of suspicious accidents convinces Jamie that Caitlin may be evil. Has Caitlin been taken over by a vengeful spirit, or is Jamie's guilt over her first daughter's death--and the grief she has yet to deal with--affecting her sanity?
