Growing up in Ferguson, Missouri, Stanley Andrisse started selling dope and was arrested for the first time at age fourteen. In his early twenties, he was sentenced to ten years in a maximum-security prison. Upon release, he was accepted into a PhD program. He completed his PhD and MBA simultaneously and became an endocrinologist at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
