Summary:
The book addresses issues of broad interest, such as the protection of cultural property within the framework of international cultural law, human rights and the identity of communities in relation to their heritage. In addition to presenting foundations for understanding these issues, and those relating to the restitution of goods and the formation of collections, he sets out case studies based in different countries, so that the reader becomes a vast and suggestive theoretical and legal landscape, illuminated from different disciplinary perspectives.
