Summary:
Shana is a fiery huntress with a blazing sword whose sole purpose is to fight demons that devour human life. She turns the slain into shadows of their former selves; and once a flame representing their remaining life goes out, they fade from existence. Yuji is fated to fade from existence; but when he discovers that he has powers that ignite strength in Shana, the two join forces to keep demons from the human world.
