Summary:
In the summer of 1944, a group of Tuscan villagers flee from Nazi occupiers, risking their lives to reach advancing GI's. This film depicts those final days of World War II, seen mostly through the eyes of a six-year-old girl, for whom life on the run is a succession of wondrous moments, both beautiful and horrifying -- External container.
