Summary:
Christian Lebrat developed, during the 1970s and 1980s, an investigation into abstraction that has altered the history of experimental cinema. In the Liminal Minimal performance, Lebrat works to reinvent the units of measurement of the film by distributing the colors according to combinatorial formulas. By manipulating the size of the images, the superimposition or juxtaposition of the two screens, their inclination or by manipulating the zoom of the projectors, the filmmaker reinvents in his own way the frame of the cinematographic projection.
