Summary:

Yolanda, a night-club singer who goes on the lam after her lover dies of a tainted drug overdose, takes refuge from the police in the Convent of the Humble Redeemers. The eccentric nuns, who greet her with open arms, have their own problems, with the Church, with the law, and with their benefactress. In the end, it is hard to say who is redeemed, if anyone.
