Summary:
Leo (Albert Finney) is the benevolent Irish gangster and political boss who rules an Eastern city with the help of Anti-hero Tom (Gabriel Byrne), he is the trusted lieutenant and counsellor. But their control of the town is challenged by an overreaching Italian under boss and his ruthless henchman Eddie Dane (J.E. Freeman). While Tom tries to keep the peace, he has a falling out with Leo over a woman and he finds himself caught in the jaws of a gangland power struggle. DVD.
