Summary:
The little match girl, inspired by a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, shows the visions seen by a poor match seller as she lights her matches one by one to keep from freezing to death; La jetée is a science fiction story about a man who travels back in time after World War III, and falls in love with a woman that he saw once when he was a child.
