Summary:
Using archival photos and interviews with descendants of the Chiricahua Apaches, the program highlights the clash between Indian and white cultures and portrays the effects on an Indian society faced with the loss of its land and traditions. Interwoven with this is the story of Geronimo, the famous Apache shaman, leader and warrior, who with his band of 37 followers, defied federal authority for more than 25 years.
