Signatures: *-2*́ı A-2Éı 2F́þ Forty-six full-page emblematic woodcuts (numbered 0-45) after the copper engravings by Boetius a Bolswert which appeared in the 1624 edition. Woodcut illustrated title page and coat of arms of Urban VIII. Includes: initials ; tailpieces ; side notes ; and watermark (signature *3.6 and A1,4) "First edition with the woodcuts by Chrisopher van Sichem the Younger (approximately1582-1658), copied from the Boetius a Bolswert engravings that appeared in the first Antwerp edition of 1624."--Bookseller's advertisement. Each of the three books has an illustrated half-title. Library's copy has early booksellers description written in French pasted on front endpaper.
