Provides guidelines for assessing the neurologic system, including those used to determine the level of consciousness and speech and language usage. Demonstrates techniques for examining the twelve cranial nerves; sensory responses; reflex responses, sense of position and balance; two point discrimination; and muscle tone, symmetry, and strength. Also includes common abnormal physical findings as well as normal findings.
