Summary:
Hoyt Axton reads the featured book Meanwhile back at the ranch by Trinka Hakes Noble about a Rancher who drives to Sleepy Gulch and misses an eventful day back home. Host LeVar Burton experiences the Old West as he rides a stagecoach across the Arizona desert and visits Old Tucson, an authentic western town. He gets a taste of life as a cowboy when he dons true western garb, complete with spurs, chaps and a ten-gallon hat. Viewers meet a stunt women who demonstrates rope tricks and stunts on horseback.
