Summary:
The Lincoln lawyer: Representing some unsavory characters in his work as a defense lawyer, Mickey Haller takes on his first high-paying and possibly innocent client in years, but finds the case complicated by events that suggest a particularly evil perpetrator. The brass verdict: Just as defense attorney Mickey Haller's life is going back to normal, a Hollywood lawyer named Jerry Vincent is murdered and Mickey takes on the case of the accused, which could take his career into the big leagues. Haller learns that the killer may be looking for him and Harry Bosch. With danger mounting, Bosch and Haller decide to work together. The reversal: Defense attorney Mickey Haller agrees to work for the prosecution and teams up with Los Angeles Police Department detective Harry Bosch to convict Jason Jessup, who spent twenty-four years in jail for the murders of children and was recently exonerated by new DNA evidence. Mickey believes will kill again.
