Summary:

A Kafkaesque political fable in which a group of people are first accosted by a gang of rowdies then placated by a man who invites them to a party, claiming he wants only their happiness. Eventually all declare they are happy, except one, who slips out. His companions agree that he too, must be made happy, and the film concludes with the nightmarish snarling of search dogs.
