Dreaming of Space tells the story of a boy named Kai, who goes camping under the stars with his grandfather. When he falls asleep, he dreams that friendly space aliens take him on a journey across the universe. They see black holes, neutron stars, nebulae, and the aliens’ extraordinary home galaxy. Kai learns all about outer space and sees how the aliens live in harmony on their beautiful ringed planet. This book combines vivid illustrations drawn by Stephanie Lowman with stunning photos taken by NASA astronomers and by night photographer Grant Collier. The resulting scenes are a mix of realism and fantasy that will keep kids fascinated while learning all about outer space.
