Summary:

In the year 2154, two groups of people remain: the extremely wealthy, who reside on an immaculate man-made space station named Elysium, and the rest, who occupy an overpopulated, destroyed Earth. Interstellar (2014). With the humanity's time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history: traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. The Martian (2015). After a bad storm blows across Mars, astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead and left behind. Now stuck on a hostile planet, he must find a way to signal to Earth and in the meantime, survive on limited supplies. School Ties (1992). A talented quarterback gets a football scholarship to an elite school but is advised to hide his Jewish faith. All goes well until his rival and his love interest both find out the truth.
