Summary:
Unscrupulous timber baron Jim Fallon plans to take advantage of a new law and make millions off California redwoods, but much of the land he hopes to grab has been homesteaded by a Quaker colony. An expert at manipulating others, Fallon suddenly finds that the love of a pretty Quaker girl is tempering his greed, and forcing him to stand on the side of the Quakers against other men who also want the giant trees.
