The feature program captures a compelling stage show, providing a window into the complex worlds of six individuals who have adapted to, and thrived with their disabilities. Listen to these 'invisible voices, ' as they share their stories with courage, passion and humor. They know, first hand, what it means to be one of the 54 million Americans living with a serious disability today. Written by playwright Ping Chong as part of his 'Undesirable Elements' series. 'Reflections on a promise' follows the long road to and beyond the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The program focuses on DBTAC: Rocky Mountain ADA Center, which is operated by Meeting the Challenge, Inc., and "provides training, materials, and techincal assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act to individuals and organizations in Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota."--Guide.
