"Thyago Nogueira, curator of the exhibition and editor of this publication, selected more than 190 images to look back at every stage of Daido Moriyama's long career, from his early works published in photography magazines to his first photobooks and masterworks, the difficult 1970s, up to his recent work. Further, "Daido Moriyama: A Retrospective" features more than 400 spreads from Moriyama's seemingly infinite number of publications, as well as a full chronology of Moriyama's life and work.
