Summary:
Marlene pursues an investigation of a place that only exists in her nightmares. She suffers a breakdown and is admitted to a psychiatric ward when she discovers the place to be real. Her daughter Mona tries to uncover what happened to her mother and finds herself in Stainbach, a village with a dark history.
