Summary:
High schooler Natsuki Rintarou lived with his grandfather, a bookstore owner, but his life changes when the old man passes away. As Rintarou organizes his grandfather's books, preparing to move to his aunt's home, a cat emerges from the depths of the bookshelves. The cat, speaking like a human being, asks for Rintarou's help to protect the books.
