As Marko and Ray search for the mine, Peggy arrives, stirring Ray's passion and igniting Marko's suspicion. As months pass, the three find themselves closing in on the mine, but the tension between them is rising. In the end, the three find themselves involved with a lot of gold and a game of dangerous deceit.
Crooked Web: Stan, a drive-in owner with a gambling problem, falls for Joanie, a carhop working at his restaurant. When Joanie's brother, Frank, comes into town, he offers Stan a sweet deal -- the chance to get a cut of $200,000 worth of gold hidden in Germany. What Stan doesn't know is that Joanie and Frank are undercover cops trying to nail him for a murder he may have committed during the war.
Cell 2455, Death Row: Based on the autobiographical book by Caryl Chessman, tells the story of how a boy becomes a brutal criminal. He begins with petty crime, escalating to violence, and finally convicted on charges of robbery and rape, is sent to San Quentin's Death Row. While awaiting execution, he studies law and manages to successfully represent himself in appeal after appeal.
5 Against the House: Four college students visiting Reno witness a failed casino robbery. As they leave, a cop tells them that there is no way to rob a casino. One of the students decides to prove the cop wrong as a goof, planning to return the money in the end. But another student, a war veteran with a head injury, has other ideas about what to do with the cash.
"Night Holds Terror: One man's act of kindness leads him and his family into an experiment in terror. When Gene Cortier picks up a hitchhiker, little does he know his passenger is part of a trio of heartless thieves. Instead of killing Cortier, the criminals decide to hold him for ransom. Unable to notify the police, Cortier's wife sits and waits for them to contact her. When the police do become involved, it's a tense cat-and-mouse hunt that gets more dangerous by the minute
New Orleans Uncensored: A gritty crime thriller about a newly-discharged sailor who gets a job as a longshoreman in The Big Easy. He swiftly discovers mob corruption throughout the docks, and when a friend is killed by the gangsters, he convinces the police to let him go undercover and take matters into his own hands.
Footsteps in the Fog: A recently widowed Londoner Stephen Lowry is confronted by his housemaid, Lily, with the knowledge that his deceased wife was poisoned. Mr. Lowry, feeling stunned and blackmailed, promotes to head of the housemaids. Eventually, the threat of blackmail is too much for Mr. Lowry and Lily as they struggle to gain control of the situation, with fatal results.
Spin a Dark Web: A Canadian prizefighter becomes mixed up in organized crime in England, and struggles to get out.
Rumble on the Docks: Jimmy Smigelski, sides off against his own father when he is taken under the wing of one of the local longshoreman's protection racket's goons.
