Summary:
Enola Holmes, the young sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes, has spent her childhood growing up in the country with only her mother to guide her. She has been taught a lot of things ladies aren't supposed to learn in 1884, such as boxing, spatial awareness and strategic thinking. When Enola's mother disappears on her sixteenth birthday, she is suddenly placed in the care of her brothers. They believe that Enola needs to become a proper lady and send her to a finishing school. Enola believes that she can solve the mystery of her mother's disappearance and runs away to London. During her trip, she finds herself helping a young Lord who also ran away. In the city, she realizes that she'll have to play the role she hates and act like a refined lady if she wants to be a better detective than Sherlock.
