Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, Petrie and shy newcomer Ali embark on a lifesaving mission. A group of migrating longnecks reports about changing weather conditions beyond the beautiful Great Valley and in the Land of the Mists, there is little cause for concern for Littlefoot and his friends. Things suddenly change when Littlefoot's grandpa becomes ill and his only hope is to eat the healing petals of a golden night flower that only grows in the mysterious wetland beyond the Great Valley.
