In a small Nigerian kingdom, the King abolishes the tradition of the betrothal of young girls to men by their family without the consent of the young girls. Omide, a beautiful young woman, is much sought after but resists the pressures from her "betrothed" and other false suitors by plotting her own disappearance to test who truly loves her.
