Edition of 120 copies. Library has copy no. 60, signed by the artist. IaU "[T]wenty-four chapbooks drawn and written by Peter Schumann in the spirit of the Latin American street-market cordells ...The charcoal and ink drawings were scanned by Ellen Dorn Levitt and printed using a Xerox Docucolor 700 with Judi Bourque at Silver Mountain Graphics in St. Johnsbury Vermont on Mohawk Superfine eggshell white 100 lb text. The crayon cover drawings were scanned by Fletcher Manley in Lancaster New Hampshire and printed using an Epson Stylus NX515 on Mohawk Via cream linen 65 lb cover by Andrew Miller-Brown who also did the letterpress printing. The chapbooks were sewn by Audrey Holden. The display pocket panels are Fabriano Miliani Ingres; the case is covered in Scholco bookcloth with a bristol slipcase printed with wood type titles"--Colophon. Cloth covered tri-fold case with display pockets holding twenty-four chapbooks, in slipcase. Each chapbook made from one sheet of paper folded into eight pages plus a cover, tied together. The chapbooks cover a variety of subjects. Claire Van Vliet is the proprietor of Janus Press.
