Summary:
Clint Keyes is on the run from the U.S. Cavalry, where he faces mutiny and desertion charges. With the company of a camel and a ten-year old runaway boy, he makes a frantic attempt to fade into the vast New Mexico countryside. They encounter a pioneering widow and her young daughter, who must choose between aiding the unlikely fugitives or hampering their desperate flight.
