Summary:
Marine Tyler Ferguson lost his best friend in combat. He survives being captured by Afghan soldiers and travesl to Africa to fulfill his brother-in-arm's last wish: to deliver the news to his sister, who runs a mission station in Ethiopia. An ex-Marine-turned-pastor guides him through the process of dealing with his loss and the trauma of war. Against the backdrop of a vicious civil war, Tyler undergoes a spiritual awakening that eventually leads him to giving the ultimate sacrifice.
