Summary:
Widowed Janaki with his Raja works as a maidservant with a wealthy man. When Raja falls ill, she has no money to get medicines, so she agrees to spend a night with her employer in return for money. Raja does recover, but on the very day, Janaki kills herself. Left alone, Raja takes to petty theft and became a career criminal. Once he married to a woman named Nirmala, in order to escape from the police. While attending courtesan Ranibai's dance, he comes to her rescue, both fall in love, decide to give up their respective careers and get married.
