Summary:
In the 21st century, nearly all of our movements are electronically or digitally recorded. By swiping a credit card, surfing the web or watching television, we create mathematical representations of our social movements. Stephen Baker describes these mathematical representations and exposes the manner in which they are used by corporations, politicians, and countless other entities to influence the choices we make, things we buy, media we are exposed to, and even who we vote for.
