Summary:
New York, 1990. The road from Palmetto, South Carolina, has been a long one, and Jade Sperry has worked hard to get where she is. Her life was ruined in 1976, shortly before graduation, when she was raped by three classmates. Because they were all sons of prominent citizens, Jade knew they would never be convicted of rape. But Jade vowed to seek revenge, and now she is returning to Palmetto.
