Summary:
The Terror (1963): A young Lieutenant in Napoleon's army witnesses the ghostly apparition of a young woman. After two failed attempts to keep up with her, Lt. Andre Duvalier (Jack Nicholson) finds himself in the castle of Baron Von Leppe (Boris Karloff). There he notices that a painting of the Baron's late wife, Ilsa, looks eerily identical to the ghostly woman. Duvalier is now determined to unravel the castle's mystery, and the Baron's hidden secrets. Though officially credited to Roger Corman, The Terror had a total of five collaborative directors, including Nicholson himself, and Francis Ford Coppola.
Little Shop of Horrors (1960): Seymour Krelboin works in the Skid Row flower shop owned by Mr. Mushnik. In his spare time, Seymour creates a new plant species he names Audrey Junior in honor of his girlfriend, Audrey. Audrey Junior begins speaking and demands to be fed human blood and flesh, convincing him to kill a railroad detective, a sadistic dentist, and a trollop. Seymour will go to great lengths to make sure Audrey is fed and happy. Eventually his guilt over the deaths forces him to confront Audrey Junior in a final standoff.
The Wild Ride (1960): A rebellious punk of the beat generation spends his days as an amateur dirt track driver in between partying and troublemaking. He eventually kidnaps his buddy's girlfriend, kills a few police officers, and finally sees his own life end in tragedy.
