Book based on a performance piece by Bread & Puppet Theater with the same name. Bread & Puppet Theater created The Foot as a street show and first performed it in New York City before the million-people-strong march for Nuclear Disarmament on June 12, 1982. In 1987 Peter Schumann made an offset booklet of The Foot. In 2002 Lila Winstead and Elka Schumann designed an expanded version of the book. The June 2013 edition of 1000 copies was printed at Silver Mountain Graphics in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Edition of 1000 copies.
