Summary:
An investigative file was opened on Elizabeth Arden, operator of the cosmetic firm "Elizabeth Arden," upon receipt of a letter in 1941 alleging that she was opening branches of her firm to be used as clearing houses for Nazi activities. In addition, the material concerning Ms. Arden contains copies of her correspondence with Director J. Edgar Hoover.
