Carrasco. Typeface: Bulmer Roman & Clarendon Wood Type." [Numbered and signed by the artist]--Colophon. Two books, the Spanish text and the English translation, folded accordion style and bound dos-à-dos in slipcase covered in walnut paper. Edition of 5. "This passage is carried out in honor of the thousands of bodies that have been found from immigrants trying to cross the border and obtain better lives. For the purpose of the book, seven sentences from the text were picked out, translated and rearranged in order to conceptualize the reflections of those who have silently made the transition and are trying to carry on the dreams of those who have passed. Furthermore, the wood type is used to create an abstract landscape space and give the text physicality."-- Artist's statement.
