Summary:
"Seven of the following stories revolve around Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's immortal creation, the Count Saint-Germain. Five of them were collected as The Saint-Germain Chronicles in 1983, while "Advocates' --which was written in collaboration with Suzy McKee Charnas--appeared in the H.W.A., Inc. anthology, Under the Fang. In contrast, "A Question of Patronage" is presented here for the first time. "Salome" was written for an anthology based on the work of Ray Bradbury, while "Investigating Jericho" is an affectionate satire inspired by the novel Salems Lot -- wherein Stephen King contended that a remote New England town could vanish without anyone noticing. However... Gahan Wilson's delightful introduction, and appendices which include an essay, a chronology, and a bibliography complete this volume." --Book jacket.
