Summary:
Gomer Pyle gets himself in and out of one sidesplitting fix after another, much to the exasperation of his bullheaded drill instructor, the thunderous Sgt. Carter. In spite of it all, it's Gomer's kind heart and cockeyed innocence that never fail to win over his cantankerous superior and beloved platoon.
