Summary:
Ex-LAPD officer Jeff Talley became chief of police in a sleepy town to escape the traumas of his career as a hostage negotiator. But a random crime escalates into a deadly standoff, and Talley finds himself thrust into a hostage situation far more terrifying than anything he could ever imagine.
