Summary:
Song and dance men Jim Hardy and Ted Hanover retire from show business. Jim wants to relax on his New England farm, but farming is more strenuous than he thought. He decides to convert his house into a hotel that will only open on national holidays, so he can work as a farmer and an entertainer. Dumped by his dancing partner/girlfriend, Ted comes to the farm looking for another one and discovers Linda Mason. They end up in California making movies. Jim realizes that he loves Linda. Linda misses Jim and the farm, so when Jim shows up she leaves Ted. Ted's old dancing partner leaves her phoney millionaire boyfriend and returns to Ted.
