Summary:

Multiple Emmy Award winner comedy series continues to explore the evolving relationship between legendary Las Vegas comedian Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and her young, up-and-coming comedy writer Ava (Hannah Einbinder) as the pair embark on a cross-country road trip work-shopping Deborah's new stand-up routine. Jean Smart won an Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG award for her performance in Season 1, while Hannah Einbrinder, Carl Clemons-Hopkins and Jane Adams all received Emmy nominations.
