Summary:
Storytellers, Tom Bledsoe & Rich Kirby present the first three stories: "Jack and the giants" -- Jack outwits four giants and wins a bushel of gold from the king. "Soap" -- James Henry is a forgetful boy who is sent to buy soap for his mother. "Cat and rat" -- The cut cuts the rat's tail off and in order to get it back, the rat has to go through a series of requests. Storyteller, Marilou Awiakta tells the story of "Little deer and Mother Earth" -- This is a Cherokee story about the delicate balance between Mother Earth and Father Sky and the respect the animals have for the natural world.
