Tells the story of American, Varian Fry, who went to France in 1940 in the guise of a refugee worker for the Y.M.C.A. but whose real mission was to get the Jewish artists, writers, musicians, scientists, professors, and politicians who had sought asylum in France out of the country before the Nazi round-up.
