Summary:
Set in the year 2041, Alex Garel is a shy, but well-known robotics programmer who, after 10 years away, returns to his home town to work in his old university to develop a new line of robot child and be with his brother David, Lana (Alex's former lover and David's current wife), and their 10-year old daughter Eva. Eva soon becomes Alex's muse and inspiration for the robot, allowing him time to spend with his niece, while watching her attitude and behavior which he incorporates into the computer figurations of his androids. However, spending so much time with Eva, stirs up old feelings for her mother and he begins to suspect both she and Eva are harboring a secret from him.
