Summary:

It's 64 A.D. and Rome revels in pomp and debauchery under the mad Emperor Nero. Into this corrupt court comes Marcus Vinicius, a heroic military commander who falls in love with Lygia, only to learn that she is a convert to the new religion of the gentle carpenter from Nazareth.
