Ira sleeps over -- Ira says goodbye.
Summary:
Ira sleeps over: Ira is thrilled to be invited for a sleepover at his best friend's house -- until his sister asks him if he intends to take along his teddy bear. Does he take it along and risk embarrassment, or leave the bear at home and sleep without his constant bedtime companion? Typical childhood qualms are explored with warmth and wit in this comforting tale. Ira says goodbye: The endearing Ira faces yet another crisis in his young life -- his best friend Reggie is moving! What makes it even worse is that Reggie seems happy about it! All Reggie talks about is how terrific his new home will be. Eventually, Ira discovers that Reggie really is unhappy about moving, he just has a different way of dealing with his feelings. This straightforward story provides a humorous, but reassuring portrayal of children's reactions when they have to say goodbye to someone they care about.
