When they return, they find James dead and the cattle gone. The brothers believe the Clantons are responsible, but instead of riding into town for a fight, Wyatt agrees to become the town marshal, to seek justice legally. In the end, however, the Earps and the dying gambler, Doc Holliday are forced into a violent gunfight at the OK Corral.
