Summary:
This research looks at the pedagogical discipline relating to Latin American reflection on colonialism in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Alluding to Foucaultian method that combines knowledge, behaviors and processes of subjectivation, one (genealogical) historical construction of the Lasallian educational project in Nuevo Rocafuerte, created in a school in Cape Minacho Padilla (1960-1979). Using archival work, analysis is performed, narrated, and documented acts, and interviews with actors who were part of this project. The work is a critical contribution to the history of education in the Ecuadorian Amazon that attempts to answer the question of how pedagogy is constituted as co-producer of new forms of colonization in Ecuador? The events of the modern school, interwoven with religious elements, the project is developed and implemented in a scenario in Oriente ecuatoriano.
