Moderate olive (C107) plain weave cloth; pictorial cover in black, cream, light green and pale blue, with boy seated on bench, girl holding doll, and seated poodle, border of flowers and vines, cream lettering including author's name on scroll, all within cream single rule border; signed with Amy M. Sacker's monogram; series spine design in gilt with gilt lettering, large floral ornament and rectangular horizontal ornaments; top edges gilt. Issued in yellowish-green dust jacket printed in dark green; jacket front reproduces partial book cover design with boy on bench, girl, dog, lettering and rule border only; spine design fully reproduced; publisher's advertisements on jacket flaps.
